Hi, I’m Jonathan Bentsen – freelance Danish translator, localization specialist, and the one-person engine behind LingClusive. I work with brands, game developers, and content teams who get that good localization is about more than words – it’s about creating experiences that feel native, natural, and inclusive.
My Story
I’ve been obsessed with languages for as long as I can remember. No joke – I used to bring dictionaries to school just to read them for fun. While other kids were trading snacks, I was flipping through verb conjugations and obscure idioms. Thankfully, my grandmother saw something in that obsession early on and sent me to a language school in France when I was 14. That’s where it all started.
One thing led to another, and I found myself chasing languages and cultures across the globe. I studied in Thailand, China, and Japan, and went on to live and work in places like France, Georgia, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain (with Copenhagen always close to heart). Each country added a new layer to how I see communication – not just as words, but as culture, intent, tone, timing.

I translate from English, German, French, and Dutch into Danish, and I also support with game localization, LQA testing, SEO copy, and localization strategy when needed.
